Terms of Service

Effective: July 6, 2026

NightlyBooks ("the App") is a personal bookkeeping automation tool that connects to QuickBooks Online on behalf of its owner-operator.

1. Private use. The App is currently operated privately by its owner for the owner's own business. It is not offered as a public service, and no accounts are available to third parties.
2. No warranty. The App is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. The owner-operator is responsible for reviewing all accounting records the App creates or suggests.
3. Not professional advice. The App automates record-keeping. It does not provide accounting, tax, legal, or investment advice.
4. Third-party services. The App interacts with Intuit QuickBooks Online APIs under Intuit's terms, and uses the Anthropic Claude API for categorization suggestions.
5. Changes. These terms may be updated if the App is ever offered beyond private use. Questions: support@nightlybooks.com.
